Are you a bridal makeup artist looking to get into bridal hair or perhaps you are already offering bridal hair but are much more confident in makeup.

When I initially trained in hair and makeup I was way more confident in makeup and kinda dreaded doing hair bookings, but I knew that if I persevered, it would give me more job opportunities. Plus it’s always so satisfying doing the full bridal look.

After investing in some 1-2-1 training with some of the best bridal hair stylists and lots of practice, I soon became really confident in hair. In fact, now I get more hair bookings than I do makeup, crazy huh.

I love working with hair and I am so glad that I persevered. Now I want to help you feel more confident in your bridal hair bookings.

ABOUT THE TRAINING

* Training is 1-2-1 and tailored to what you want to learn.

* Training will take place at my home in Hertford East (35 mins train journey from Tottenham Hale or 50 mins from Liverpool Street).

* We can use hair models or training heads to practice on.

* It's a full day, 10am to 4pm. Lunch will be provided.

* Training is £300 per day.

I booked 1-2-1 training with Nicola and I'm so pleased I did. I had done hair styling before but wanted to refresh my skills as I felt a little out of practice and wanted to be more confident in certain styles. She was so lovely and went through all the things I wanted extra practice with.

We went through everything from perfecting a bouncy blow dry, prepping hair before styling, bridal updos and beachy waves.

Nicola demonstrated each style and then I would practice, giving advice and suggestions along the way. I would highly recommend Nicola. She's amazing at what she does.

QUESTION

I have no experience in bridal hair, is this for me?

ANSWER

Yes, absolutely. The training session will be tailored to you and the experience you already have.

If you have no experience at all, I will teach you the basics. This will include product knowledge, curling techniques and some simple hair ups.

If you are a complete beginner I recommended booking a minimum of 2 days with me, to get the most out of your training.

QUESTION

I have some experience in bridal hair but would like to get more confident in hair ups. Can you help me?

ANSWER

Yes, of course I can. By the end of the training session you'll be way more confident in hair ups.

I will get you to pick 3 hairstyles that you would like to learn and perfect.
I will demonstrate each style and you'll get practice time after each one.

QUESTION

I'd like to practice on a person, rather than a training head. Will you provide models or do I need to?

ANSWER

I can certainly try and help you find a model, however this cannot be guaranteed. You are welcome to bring your own model.

Alternatively I will provide a training head.
