I am OBSESSED with wedding hair and makeup, it's my thing! Helping someone feel amazing on their big day makes me SO happy.

Over the years of being a Wedding Hair Stylist and Makeup Artist, I have learned that makeup and hair is so personal. Add the fact that this is going to be one of the BEST and most photographed days of your life, there's a lot of pressure, right?

The feedback I consistently get from my clients is my ability to listen carefully to what they want. Sure, I am here to give my professional advice but it’s very much a collaboration of us both. Without trying to sound too cheesy, you’ve got to feel like you, just your best version.

Whilst I am London based, I travel all over the UK and worldwide for Weddings. In fact, any excuse to do a bit of travelling.

Before the trial, I’ll ask you to gather your inspo pics. I'll then make a recommendation on what will suit you (and your dress) best. I want you to leave the trial thinking that I’ve nailed it.

QUESTION

How far in advance shall I book my hair and makeup trial?

ANSWER

This is your preference, however, most of my trials are 6-12 months in advance.

QUESTION

How long does the hair and makeup trial last?

ANSWER

A hair and makeup trial is up to 3.5 hours. A hair only trial takes up to 2 hours and a makeup trial is up to 1.5 hours.

QUESTION

How should I prepare for the hair and makeup trial?

ANSWER

Please gather images of hair and/or makeup styles that you like the look of. Pinterest & Instagram are great for inspo. I always recommend that you look for styles on women that have similar colour hair and skin tones to yourself.

QUESTION

What shall I bring to the hair and makeup trial with me?

ANSWER

If you have a hair trial please bring your veil and any hair accessories with you. If you have sensitive skin and have a particular moisturiser or foundation you like to wear, it might be a good idea to bring these too.

Where is the hair and makeup trial held?

ANSWER

The hair and makeup trials are held at my home in Crouch End, North London.

QUESTION

Can I come to the makeup trial with makeup on?

ANSWER

Of course you can, do whatever you feel most comfortable with. Although coming makeup-free is preferred. If you are having a hair only trial, then I'd recommend you wearing some makeup for photos that I'll take after the session.

QUESTION

How would you prefer my hair to be prepped before the for hair trial?

ANSWER

Please come with clean, non-styled hair. Ideally, hair that's been left to dry naturally.

QUESTION

What brands do you use?

ANSWER

I have a variety of brands but my faves are Charlotte Tilbury, Bobbi Brown, MAC. Bumble and Bumble, IGK and Kerastase.

QUESTION

Are lashes included within the Wedding makeup quote?

ANSWER

Individual and strip lashes certainly are. I also offer an LVL service, so if you want your lashes to be lush and lifted for your big day and honeymoon, then don't forget to book this in too.

Do you travel for weddings?

ANSWER

Yes, I travel all over the UK and worldwide for weddings. Just let me know what the destination is at the time of the enquiry and I will include the travel charge within the quote.

QUESTION

I have a large bridal party to get ready on the big day, do I need to book an additional artist?

ANSWER

No, I have a team of amazing wedding hairstylists and makeup artists that I can book for the day. Just let me know how many of you need styling and I will include the charge for this within the quote.
